i made it out for a cottage weekend in Peterborough…. nobody knew.. i just flew out.. now i’m back in T.O. for 10 days… nothing has changed but it feels really good to see and hear everybody…… pics wil be up from the trampoline!…  i have a mosquito bit on the back of my head!

why does it take so long to get my passport?. When they say ‘15′ working days?.. but it takes longer! wtf! now its closer to 30….

if you havent heard Prince is playing London for a total of 21 nights here in London. If you are ever lucky enough to catch a Prince concert go check him out!. By far he is the BEST stage show EVER!. no dancing no effects no distractions, pure raw talent!.

So I’ve been trying to get tickets to catch one of his shows right. If you ever deal with ticketmaster you already know how big of a pain it is to get tickets for your favourite performer. You either have to go online when they are released to the public or gamble and wait it out keep constantly checking whenever they release tickets again.

So I’ve been constantly looking to get tickets for one of his shows later in the summer. I finally was able to get through and get some decent seats right….. so I fill out the proper form fields wondering if i have enough time (2min) to fill out everything.. name, last name, visa number.. etc etc….. right… its bad enough I’m paying $CAN for these seats… one thing about england…….they do not have physical ticketmaster outlets.. or i havent been able to find one…….. so when filling out the form, I wanted to get tickets, however these tickets will arrive by mail and the only address they will mail it to.. is your.. .BILLING ADDRESS. my billing address is in Canada, I’m in London. So they will send the tickets back to my Brampton address….. sucks…. so i bailed.

Then that got me thinking, If you are living in a western world, you are pretty much screwed without credit. Its hard enough to find a job.. but what if you wanted a home, or to rent a car, buy a phone, get cable tv, or even get something online……

Its just one of the fortunate things living in a western world you need to live.. but you really don’t need……

i’ve been working at an agency for the past of couple of weeks. thats why i havent really been blogging anything. Freelancing is 180 degree turn to permanent employment. Of course there are advantages and disadvantages of working like this. One way to describe it is….. remember in elementary school you are sitting in class and a new person from another school or another country comes and joins your class?…. well thats what it feels like. Always being the new person you get to meet plenty of people expand your network, however when you do get comfortable as a freelancer you always end up leaving then the cycle starts al over again!!!

So this new contract i already disliked it the first week ( couple more weeks to go..) I’m a person who always to try new things and saying no is not my forte. So this contract is placed in an angency, however this agency outsources their designers to inhouse teams. I am way to familiar with this situation…. and i dont really like it…
